What this website collects
When you send us a message, we receive what you enter: your name, email, and message, plus your phone number, parish, and clinic name if you add them. We use it to reply to you. Please do not send medical details through the form.
Your account and bookings
If you create an account, we keep your name, email, phone number, and date of birth. When you book, these are shared with that clinic only, which keeps its own record of you and your appointments. We do not ask for your reason for visiting. You choose whether to receive reminders, and you can ask us to close your account through the Help page.
Check-in, queue tracking, and notifications
If you check in or follow your place in line, we show you your own ticket, status, and a count of people ahead, never who they are. Notifications in your account contain no medical details. If you use your location to find nearby clinics, the distances are worked out on your device and your location is not sent to us. If you turn on push notifications, we keep a code for your device so we can reach it, and if you choose text or WhatsApp, your number and message go through our messaging provider.
Your choices
You can change your details and reminders in your account, ask for a copy of your data, and close your account from Settings. Closing it removes your Clinic Q account, family profiles, notifications, and testimonials, and cancels upcoming visits. Clinics keep their own records of your care, and may have to retain them by law.
Children
A parent or legal guardian can add a child under 18 and book for them. Clinics may verify this at the visit. The profile closes when the child turns 18, and the guardian can no longer see the child's visits online.
Testimonials
If you share your experience, we publish the words and name you choose only after our team reviews them. You can ask us to remove them at any time.
Cookies and analytics
With your permission, this website uses Google Analytics for Firebase to learn how the site is used. It does not run unless you choose to allow it, and you can change your choice at any time with Cookie choices at the bottom of each page.
Clinic listings
Clinics choose whether to appear in our clinic finder. A listing shows the clinic's name, address, phone number, hours, and services. It holds no patient information.
Patient records at clinics
Clinics that use Clinic Q manage their own patient records. Each clinic's records are kept separate, and the Clinic Q team does not have access to them. To ask about your record, please contact your clinic.
Where information is stored
Clinic Q runs on Google Cloud and Firebase, in the United States.
