How it works

From finding care to being seen

What to expect when you use Clinic Q.

Book your visit

  1. Find a provider

Search by doctor, clinic, service, specialty, or parish. Clinics that do not take online bookings show their phone number instead.

  2. Choose a time

Pick from the open times in the clinic's own calendar. You only need an account when you are ready to book, and your choice is kept.

  3. Get an answer

Some clinics confirm straight away. Others review each booking, so it shows as Requested until they confirm.

On the day

  1. Check in

Scan the clinic's Clinic Q code if it has one, or check in at reception. You get a ticket number that holds your place.

  2. Follow your queue

See your ticket, how many people are ahead, and a rough wait in My account. Your name is never shown on waiting room screens.

  3. Get called

When it is your turn, your number and room appear on the screen and in your account.

Good to know

  • Wait times are estimates, and never a promise. Urgent cases and clinical priorities can change the order.
  • Please stay close by, and follow the clinic staff if they ask you to wait at the clinic.
  • Queue tracking is not medical triage, and is only offered at participating clinics.
  • Clinic Q is not an emergency service. In an emergency, call 110 for an ambulance or go to your nearest hospital.
